SiSP members present research at JCA2023

SiSP members received travel grants to showcase their work at the 82nd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Cancer Association (JCA) in Yokohama. The conference will last for three days from September 21 (Thursday) to September 23 (Saturday), 2023.

PhD Candidate Ms.Kodcharat Cheevapruk and Research staff&PhD student Sunisa Prasopporn received travel grants from the JCA organizing committee to discuss their cancer research work. Specifically, Ms.Kodcharat presents a poster on multiple myeloma, studying the role of stroma interactions on anti-cancer drug sensitivity. Ms.Sunisa presents an oral presentation on her recent paper, combining SMAC mimetic LCL161 with GEM+CIS therapy in CCA. Both of the works were under collaboration with Prof.Seiji Okada, Kumamoto University.
