SiSP Workshop on Advanced Techniques in Animal Research

The SiSP Lab was delighted to host an advanced training workshop on September 29, 2023, focusing on enhancing the skill sets of staff in the Pharmacology department. The workshop was dedicated to practical operational skills in Intravenous Injection techniques in laboratory mice (Mus musculus) of the Jcl:ICR strain. The hands-on training session was led by our esteemed instructor, Dr. Gunya Sittithumcharee.

Objectives:

  • To provide specialized training in intravenous injection techniques for laboratory animal research.

  • To standardize the skill level across our pharmacology team, ensuring high-quality data and ethical animal handling.

About the Instructor:

Dr. Gunya Sittithumcharee is an experienced expert in the field of pharmacology and animal research, with a track record of conducting highly specialized training sessions. She received her PhD from Kumamoto University under the supervision of Prof.Seiji Okada.
